When do your public tours run?

Our public Yarra Valley winery tours run Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Are you allowed to get drunk?

We encourage our guests to enjoy their wine and have fun. Each venue has a responsible service of alcohol policy and can refuse to serve you if they think you’ve had too much to drink.

Can we drink on the bus?

The law dictates that the consumption of alcohol in a moving vehicle is not allowed. So far, we haven’t had anyone say they could have done with more wines on the tour, so we’re confident you’ll be happy.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes we can cater for all major dietary requirements, just let us know and we will organise everything with the lunch venue.

Do you have disabled access?

Unfortunately, our buses are not fitted for wheelchair access so our tours are unable to cater to those requirements.

Does bad weather stop tours?

No, our tours are all able to run rain, hail or shine. We’re not sure if the run in snow as we’re yet to encounter that problem!

Some things worth keeping in mind…

A $300 deposit is required to book your date. The remainder is required 2 week prior to the tour. We’ll organise a one or two pick-up locations to suit your group.

What do I need to wear?

Whatever you feel comfortably in, but smart casual is probably best. As long as you look neat and tidy, there won’t any problems.

Where’s your pick-up location?

We can pick up and drop off from anywhere across Sydney. Just let us know the address which is easiest for you!

Sydney Winery Tours specialises in wine tours and related activities for private groups, birthday parties, Hens & Bucks tours and more.

Talk to us about your ideas and we will create a special day for your group

We’ll take you out to visit some of the city’s wineries, distilleries and breweries. We pride ourselves in our choice of venues – they are a great mix of places which all showcase a different aspect of Sydney’s bustling bar scene! Every place we visit we go to because they are great, no commissions are ever asked for or given. We have over a decade’s experience running tours, so we know how to make sure your special day is as memorial as possible. Enjoy behind the scenes access to some of Sydney’s best cellar doors and learn as much as you like about how their wine is made. We are very flexible and happy to include the venues that you want to visit and do what we can to ensure you get the exact type of day you want. Just make an enquiry and we can start to plan the perfect tour!

What the day might look like:

Arranged pick up at 11am
You’ll have a personal driver plus a host for the day
Guided discussion of each venue’s history, wine tasting etiquette, and more.
Visit 3 cellar doors in the heart of Sydney.
Get a look at the behind the scenes winery tour
Enjoy a fantastic gourmet lunch
Visit a brewery for a cleansing ale
Arranged drop off at 5:00pm-5:30pm

Our route varies each day and we visit many friendly venues in the heart of Sydney including Handpicked Cellar Door, Urban Winery, Red Oak Brewery and Archie Rose distillery just to name a few! If you are hoping to visit a particular venue let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
